.very astute of you!! Here in the Uk we also have The rglaeur who is normally a person with mental problems. Type 1, They drink they get depressed they self harm they come in to get patched up. Type 2, Their partner drinks .gets depressed beats them up they come in to get patched up. Type 3, They have a genuine medical problem but see the ER staff as friends/company they come in for a chat/reassurance they have a cuppa they get sent home. Type 4, The alcoholic/junkie enough said!!I really enjoy working in ER you genuinely do see life in all it's extremes, stages and forms, all mixed together in one great big pot!
