The highlight of moldue 8 would be prostate cancer. In 2010 my stepdad took aPSA test and was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He did not know what stagehis prostate cancer was. I would say he had stage 1 cancer because he wasasymptomatic to his cancer. He just went on his everyday routines until hehad to get treated at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. He seems to be doing good these days with no complicatoins as far as Iknow of.The outlook for prostate cancer is genrally good because prostate cancerusually progresses very slowly. A man can live for decades without havingany symptoms or needing any treetment. Many men die with prostatecancer, rather than as a result of it. But if the cancer spreads from theprostate to other parts of the body (metastasis) typically the bones, itcan't be cured and treatment is focused on prolonging life and relievingsymptoms.Another highlight about moldue 8 is about chlamydia. According to theCDC, in 2006 Alaska had the highest rate of Chlamydia with 675.3rates per 100,000 population. In 2009 Mississippi had the highest rateof chlamydia with 802.7 rates per 100,000 population. In 2009 Alaskahad the second highest rate of chlamydia with 752.7 rates per 100,000population.
