I found the information on mianigre headaches to be interesting and informative. Although hereditary has been known to be a primary factor in mianigres, the new discovered cause of developmental or congenital defects in the heart causing mianigres is new to me. I've heard of the foramen ovale not completely shutting at the time of birth and that surgery is done to correct the situation. However, I didn't know that in 25% of those affected by a patent foramen ovale, that when surgery is done to close it completely mianigres were eradicated.I had heard about shingles before but I didn't realize that it is caused by the latency effect of the chicken pox virus. However I did know that the chicken pox virus was apart of the herpes family. I know that shingles can be very painful when there is a flare up but I didn't know the optic nerve can be affected causing conjunctivitis. and that is this isn't treated properly ulcerations can form on the cornea. These ulcerations can lead to scarring or blindness. I've had clients that have shingles and I had to always ask them if they've had any recent flare ups so not to expose myself to becoming infected myself.
