I found Hiatal Herni
I found Hiatal Hernia’s to be fascinating to me. I have an acqauintance that had surgery for this condition here on the peninsula recently. He is recovering quite nicely and his only complaint is the liquid diet he has to adhere to. My mother also has a hiatal hernia. This condition has had a big impact on her overall health. She has had this for some years and now has been diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). She has endured the endoscopy and several other tests. I was amazed to learn that hiatal hernia’s tended to recur after ones surgery, but didn’t say how long that process would take. I would think someone contemplating this surgery would want to weigh the pros and cons. The book didn’t mention how a person’s voice can become very raspy from GERD too.Cholecystitis was another topic of interest for me. I couldn’t believe that one of the symptoms is belching. I have never had a problem with belching until this past year. It would amaze me how people can drink a soda and let go of a big belch. It is not unusual now for me to belch quite often and I haven't been able to figure out why. I think I am going to be looking for a reasonable x-ray.
