The gastrointestinal
The gastrointestinal sestym is was very good. To learn about the structure and function of the digestive tract. Signs of a problem in the digestive tract would be diarrhea, constipation I did read recently that flaxseed oil can beneneficial for these minor annoyances. The disorders of the liver such as the hepatitis series was good. Hopefully soon a vaccine can be produced to protect healthcare workers against the C strain. I was a little confused about C strain. I thought you can contract it from bodily fluids, intravenous drug use, and unprotected sex. But i later read it can be caused from alcohol abuse, from cirrhosis of the liver. Another good topic was cancer of the mouth. I used to work in a dental clinic, and sometimes patients would have to come in for a BX of the gingiva and sent over to a pathologist to determine if this is cancer. I have a family friend that recently died from cancer of the pancreas. This is one of the trickiest cancers to treat. Sadly her spouse had it as well and died within a month later. Pancreatic cancer is usually advanced before it is discovered, and it quickly metastasizes to surrounding organs the duodenum, stomach, and liver.
