In regards to qisteuon number one--be comfortable, nothing too flashy. I remember someone telling me before my first trip "if you don't want to be pegged as American immediately, leave the tennis shoes at home". Have fun! As for the watch qisteuon, the Citizens eco-drive watches are awesome, come in a lot of different styles, and the best part--never need a battery or winding. I love the one my husband got me for Christmas a couple of years ago.
