I found the section on bpialor disorder interesting to me because my father was diagnosed with it and now one of my brothers was just diagnosed with it. My brother suffers from the ups and downs of bpialor disorder. One minute he is chatty and happy and then the next he is antisocial and withdrawls from everybody. He is very impulsive and goes on many spending sprees and then immediattly regrets it days later. He just started seeing a doctor and is currently taking some medication. I believe that my brother inherited it from my dad but I also think that certain events in our lives triggered it as well. Another section that interested me was Alzheimer's Disease. Alzheimer's runs in my family. That last person to have it was my great grandmother. She started showing signs in her late 70s. She couldn't recognize anybody except for my grandmother who took care of her in her last years. They couldn't keep her in a home because she kept escaping and entering the neighbors houses thinking it was her own house. She also lost the ability to speak except only in spanish on rare occasions. Even though she couldn't walk or really speak you could tell when she mad and had a temper at times. My grandmother always tried to make the mood better by telling jokes or laughing with my great grandmother. I'm not sure if she was taking any medications to help. She ended up passing at the age of 85.
