upgraded from arai RX7 to this., August 17, 2012Bya0 (CA, USA) Amazon Verified Purchase() This review is from: I rode my 2006 yzf R6 with the arai rx7 hlemet and it functioned very well, sold my 06 and havent ridden in 6 years until recently i purchased a new 2012 r6 and also ordered this corsair v black frost. I like the black color because it is lowkey and good looking. The new Corsair V is a big improvement over the Rx7 because it fits more comfortably, the interior shaping is more ergonomic and encases your skull much better. Also the ear cushioning seems to have a larger circumference so that all of the ear is incircled so that it can breathe. Previously in the rx7, the ear began to feel compressed after 1 hour of riding, I do have slightly big ears though so that is my experience. The new corsair v is a homerun. Im sure there are other functions but I did not bother reading them up, all of the venting is more than sufficient. Also the the corsair v has an increased peripheral view, huge improvement over the rx7 where some of the field of view was limited.Help other customers find the most helpful reviewsa0Was this review helpful to you?a0 | a0
