I have several good
I have several good ckbookoos. One of my favorites is The Greens Cookbook by Deborah Madison. It has some of the most fantastic vegetarian recipes in it and has my scribbles all over it. I also love The Farmhouse Cookbook by Liz Trigg. I have yet to be dissapointed by a single recipe in that one. But the creme de la creme on my shelf is my mothers green binder and my black binder. When making meals my mom would always ask us ; would you eat this once a week, once a month, once a year, or never again? The only recipes that got put in the binder were the ones that we would eat once a week. The binder also contained all of our family recipes going back to my great grandmother. She gave me the green binder as a gift at my wedding shower. Since I have been married I have been compiling my families favorite recipes in a black binder. Whenever there is a question as to what to make for dinner one of the binders comes out. So those (although not in print) are the most treasured gems on my cookbook shelf.
