I actually alomst forgot to do this and then when I got week three email, I was reminded. So in the stores last night, i figured I would test this out and smile to people I met. In many ways, I was surprised at the response because some people readily smiled back, some avoided eye contact and others kept their grim poker faces on. It is interesting to stop and note this. I still put the smile out there in hopes that it will maybe be a warm spark in their day to help brighten up their life.
