Some of the most interesting ioairmftnon I learned this chapter was on Hepatitis. I knew of Hepatitis A, B, and C, but I wasn't aware of Hepatitis D or E. I was also surprised to learn how the different types were spread or transmitted. I wasn't aware that Hepatitis A was transmitted from fecal matter in contaminated food or drink, or that a infected mother can transmitted Hepatitis B to her newborn child. I found the CDC's website with the Hepatitis ioairmftnon very informative and easy to read and understand.Another topic I found interesting was on cancer of the colon and rectum. My father has regular check ups and has in the past had polyps removed, this last one he had they thought he had colorectal cancer. Luckily they removed all the polyps and the lab results came back in his favor. I didn't know that familial polyposis is a hereditary disease, and now that I do, as a family we can be aware and inform our doctors. One last thing that I find interesting and if anyone has any input on this matter; while reading this chapter I was discussing esophageal cancer with my parents and they told me that my grandmother had it. The interesting thing they told me was that it was back in the late 50 s or 60 s and that she had a section of her esophagus removed and replaced with a goats esophagus. Unfortunately my grandmother is no longer around to ask questions to, and I looked on the internet for info on this topic with no luck. I don't know if they still do this, or if this was an experimental thing, but my grandmother lived until the early 90 s, into her late 70 s with this esophagus, I am continuing to dig and try and find more ioairmftnon.
