Frankly, if I were Australia I'd be glad that I'd drawn one of the weaker European sides. And Japan aren't really a footballing force - they did well last year, but they had the huge home advantage.
And it is possible to beat Brazil you know. Rare, but possible.
And if not, then as of January next year you're part of Asia not Oceania so you've got a good chance to improve your game ready for South Africa 2010.
