I can't believe the ofensefs taken, even someone calling her hoity toity, for not eating gluten or dairy. A couple of years ago, I also was eating bread, and her dietary changes, much like mine could be new within the last year. There is a whole world of other healthy grains one can eat, and as yummy as cheese is, the protein IS inflammatory to some people, like the protein in wheat can be inflammatory. We don't know what other health conditions she has and that usually is why people give up gluten. Trust me, I know, I WISH I could eat whole wheat products. It would make eating at restaurants and friends' houses and grocery shopping ALOT easier and cheaper. I am irritated by those who really seem to think it's a Hollywood thing or just to be a fussy eater thing. it's simple just NOT a matter of anything in moderation for alot of people.Extra joint pain and swelling, debilitating migraines with nausea, and chronic diarrhea seem a pretty good reason for one to avoid gluten and dairy. There are reasons people make what may be an unusual dietary choice.
