I think entry into any/all profession shluod be based on the passing of proficiency exams. The exams would be created by guild-like associations. It would make no difference what one did before taking the test.PublicUniversity shluod be reserved for the true elite , while private can accept anyone who can pay but if when upper-middle idiots don't need 30 credits of progressive indoctrination to get a job in a bank, the whole system will be forced to change course.I could see maybe a handful surviving, which seems about right to me.
