Thanks, Anna. I found, like many of our friends above, this post to be very helpufl at such a hard time. I am between novels and have been stressed out about what to write next , pressuring myself to try something new, telling myself that I should work on that one story I've been ignoring for the last year even though my heart is set on writing the sequel to the novel I've just finished. Long story short, my heart is in the novel, and the novel is what keeps me going from day to day in my writing life. I shouldn't feel guilty about that, or worry that the story is too silly to write. I'm already committed to it. It's already my brain-child. I simply need to be the writer for this story, and put my brain where my heart already is. Does that make sense? Anyway, thanks much!Jillian Bostonb4s last blog post ..Like? 0
