Things i have seen in terms of pc memory is alwyas that there are technical specs such as SDRAM, DDR and so on, that must match the specs of the motherboard. If the pc's motherboard is rather current while there are no main system issues, updating the ram literally will take under one hour. It's on the list of easiest laptop or computer upgrade methods one can picture. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
