Just passed our first anniversary, still madly in love. Just bought a house and have really, really good intentions that this time we'll be tidy and organised from the get-go. Love 25% of my job enough to put up with the 75% I detest. Earn less than I want but more than I need. Family are healthy, friends are reaching comfortable, settled points in their lives. Haven't yet had the Big 3-0 freak-out and hope to alleviate it by reminding myself that at least then I'll be back in a decade adjacent to the husband.
Life's good, all things considered.
