Hitler said ALOT of things, all of which were veichles to get him where he was going. He was for it… before he was against it. ..much like our President! However, the DAF?s claim that it represented the workers was clearly not true: all collective bargaining (the right to negotiate wages and conditions with employers) was abolished as was the right to strike. Instead, pay and working conditions were decided by officials appointed by Hitler. Sounds similar to this: Soviet trade unions were, in fact, actually governmental organizations whose chief aim was not to represent workers but to further the goals of management, government, and the CPSU. As such, they were partners of management in attempting to promote labor discipline, worker morale, and productivity. Unions organized socialist competitions and awarded prizes for fulfilling quotas. Odd don't ya think? Don't you think the progressives here would be happy if they could combine the unions under one big tent which they could control? Or do you just want to avoid that thought?Now let's get back to the point. You keep comparing the right wing, and the tea party in particular to nazis, yet you offer only as proof that they are anti union'?How do you square this in your closed little mind:You, and many others on the left , call the tea party anti government'. Yet the nazis, and fascist in general are for a strong autocratic or dictatorial government. Tell me, how can one be anti government and for an autocracy at the same time? Oddly enough though you progressives want a strong centralized government. Who sounds more nazi like? The anti government group or the group that wants the government to control every facet of our lives?Most tea party members are anti-abortion. The nazis were obviously pro eugenics. Isn't Margaret Sanger, Hillary Clintons hero, the leading force behind eugenics? Wasn't it Robert Reich, an obama advisor who said at speech in Berkley that:this is what an educated, honorable, realistic, democracy should support:-Younger people should pay more-Healthier people should pay more-Older people should just die- they're too expensive -There should be less innovation in medical technology-You should not expect to live longer than your parentsDid you catch the third one? Old people should just die. Sounds naziish doesn't it?Another Obama advisor( and his favorite economist ) said this last week: Eventually we do have a problem. That the population is getting older, health care costs are rising…there is this question of how we’re going to pay for the programs. The year 2025, the year 2030, something is going to have to give…. …. We’re going to need more revenue…Surely it will require some sort of middle class taxes as well.. We won’t be able to pay for the kind of government the society will want without some increase in taxes… on the middle class, maybe a value added tax…And we’re also going to have to make decisions about health care, doc pay for health care that has no demonstrated medical benefits . So the snarky version…which I shouldn’t even say because it will get me in trouble is death panels and sales taxes is how we do this. Did you catch that? Death panels', that wasn't Palin, that was a leader in the progressive cause calling for death panels. Palin only warned against them. So we have the tea party as anti abortion and against death panels, nazis for both, and progressive liberals now on the record for both.The tea party and conservatives want the people to keep their money and our government to be responsible to the people. The nazis wanted control of the people. Progressives want control of the people. According to progressives we need to be told how much soda we can drink, what we should weigh, how much salt we can have, what we can say (god forbid we offend anyone, unless of course they're in a predetermined offendable group), how much money we can make (wait, didn't the nazis do that?)And lets not forget your beloved unions get very upset if someone goes against them. In fact wasn't it you who said you would throw a rock at your friends mother if was a scab'? God forbid she exercise her right to work when you're to stubborn to do it. When the union fat cat bosses are deciding which political party to support do they split the money in accordance with the percentages of members who are democrats and those who are republicans or do they give it all to Obama and his cronies? Effectively a republican in a union has no voice. So much for workers rights. I guess you have rights in the union as long as you agree with them, if not you should shut up and sit down right? Again, the union doesn't give a rats a$$ about you, only your money and you're fool to think otherwise. You could almost say unions are a bit fascist in the way they run things.
