Oh, it's positively ridiculous Hooked on Phonics was this system to help people learn to read back in the day and the tag was, "Hooked on Phonics worked for me!" Your title had the word "worked" in it, but the grammar was completely wrong, so I was trying to be cute. Apparently it failed. LOL.
