...if I had kids, I wouldn't leave them alone with him, since a lot of the mannerisms Depp uses strongly reminded me (and others) of Michael Jackson.

And what mannerisms would those be? His constant desire to be away from the kids? Ever since I first heard the comparison made, I thought it was the most rediculous thing I'd ever heard, and chalked it up to being media hype generated to boost ticket sales. I don't care about celebrities, so I don't really pay attention to them. As such, I don't know Michael Jackson's mannerisms or how they compare to Depp's Willie Wonka. A.k.a., I have an unbiased view of the Wonka character, and from what I've been able to gather, good ol' Willie would rather be on the opposite side of the factory from where the children are.
