Me,
if
possible.

And with *if* I mean that I don't know it for sure yet right now. Just that I currently don't see why I wouldn't be able to make it. That is, when not thinking about cats and other vicious animals that are after my guts. :-P
Cats...oh...hmm...something tells me I'd better reply at this post one bit at a time. *eep* :-O
|
Well considering we can cook on 6 pits basically I'm not too worried about feeding folks, but let's see:
- spaghetti/macaroni
|
Hooray, that should be safe for me. *check*
|
- rice & meat/fish & salad
|
I think fish is just about the only thing on the list that I would really really really really prefer NOT to eat. At best I would perhaps try a little bit, but I would probably stick to something else then, like salad or eh....I don't know.....some other food like....winegums? *ducks* :-P
(And no, I will NOT eat duck either! Quack! ;-))
Well, if they're as good as I'm imagining right now, and if I'm not tortured by cats and/or fish well.....then I might consider lending you my soul for a few minutes. That or just high praise. Or a smile, if you'd prefer that. :-P So yes. *check*
|
- french fries & other fried foods
|
Seems okay to me. Can't come up with anything specific here that I would need/want to avoid apart from the food thingies already mentioned. *check*
|
- cooked/mashed potatoes with meat/chicken
|
Probably not my favourite food, but I think I would survive....eventually. :-P
Though I would probably eat mashed potatoes too, I would personally prefer cooked ones. (that is, asuming cooked and mashed are the only two options. I realise that just frying everything won't always do wonders to my health. ;-))
Anything with bones, err...I mean when it's food related I mean....would probably scare me. In order to keep the "oh you're such a baby, Leander" sounds to a minimum, I would probably still eat it, but not so fast. Just in case there are plans to go some place just 15 minutes after dinner.
though (mr) bean soup isn't exactly my favourite kind, I think an occasional soup thingie would be alright. I could go on about "oh I don't like this soup, and I can't stand that soup", but I won't. *sighs of relief heard throughout sevspace*
(Though perhaps some soups require more bread substitutes than others. :-P ;-))
So a 1/2 to approx 3/4 part of a *check* there, I think.
Seriously, though. I'm probably just paranoid, and everthing will be fine. And if there's *really* a problem about the food, I'm sure we can work something out.

Anybody allergic to / not eating any of what is listed above?
|
No allergies to the things listed above apart from the serious not liking of fish.
|
I'll make a few phone calls & checks for possible activities this week, the easy ideas so far include bowling, swimming pool, pool (or is that biljard? I don't know the difference), watching a movie at home and very-very maybe (!) shooting in our village and can include a whole series of things (English spoken films, skating, and pretty much anything you want) if we get enough cars & people with driver's licenses to go to nearby cities.
|
Apart from scating which I can't do without having a nervous breakdown, I think pretty much al the other suggested activities are okay with me.
Oh and pool is more like snooker. That is, they both have "holes" at the edges where you have to get the balls in. But they have some different rules and stuff, like how to score points and how much. Biljart (or is it with a "d"?) is without the holes. Instead, you have 3 balls, one red and two white. (or one white and a yellow one, I think). Here, you have two players, or teams if that works out. Each player tries to hit his/her white (or yellow) ball in such a way that it hits the other two balls. Succeeding results in getting a point and another go, missing means the other player gets to try. (but then they hit the other non-red looking ball with their cue thingie first, of course)
|
That's if anybody wants to come over here of course. But don't forget Johan has two long-haired cats now too.
|
Ah...hmmm...cats...right. Well, I think that would be my biggest problem. You all know how I feel about those. And (asuming you're still in/around veghel), I could probably just stay at home during the nights here when people visit you. But at the same time I might not feel being part of the group who stays there completely. Plus I'd probably have a hard time with moving back and forth by public transport all the time.
(and no, I am *certainly* not going to move back and forth between Eindhoven and Leeuwarden each day! ;-))
So, that would mean the other option, staying. If I can be kept safe from cats, I'll hopefully survive. And sleeping somewhere where any cats can't come would be lovely.
Woa, this is a lot of tupoing for someone who, although he probably can, doesn't know yet for sure if he can even make it yet. :-O ;-)
There are FOUR brain cells!
