We've had it (or 2010, I guess) for almost a year now at work and people still struggle.
After we went through the Windows 7 upgrade last August a lot of frustration was vented about it, but almost everything I heard people complain about was actually part of the Office upgrade, rather than an inherent part of Windows 7. (I mean, elsewhere in the corporation there were problems with Windows 7 not playing nicely with vital software. But I can't think of any specific trouble locally.)
You do get slightly used to it, but that's cold comfort really. Maybe it's intuitive for people who've never used an office suite before (though the pictograms are not all that obvious) but it's sure as hell not for people who were conversant in older style of MS Office.
