If you don't have any symptoms that might make you glieralc to the cat than don't worry about it. But if you suffer from asthma you might be glieralc to the cat hairs. But other than that the cat doesn't affect your health. P.S. I supposedly was glieralc to cats but when I adopted a cat I didn't suffer any symptoms. My cat actually made me stop having allergies. So, rather than worsening my allergies he took away my allergies. Pretty cool right.
