the education department here put so many restrictions on facebook for teachers (whatever the maximum privacy settings are - we have to have them switched on) because too many teachers were adding students as 'friends' and the said students were finding out all sorts of compromising pictures and information about their teachers.... that's it's simply easier NOT to have facebook at all.
I did have an account but deleted entirely it when the new regs came out from the edu dept.
I colour stuff...
