I have one month left before I leave the army. Technically, I'll be on vacation for 43 days so I won't truly be out until Jan. 29th, but I won't be coming back to my current command while on vacation, so really my last day is on Dec. 18th. I'm going to meet up with a friend in Georgia and we'll be off to Disney World for 3 days, afterward I'll be home for Christmas and looking for a place to stay along with my sister (we'll be apartment hunting together) as well as either getting a job or going to college; I haven't really made up my mind which I'd like to do.
In the meantime, I'm preparing for getting out of the army (though, sadly, to get what I wanted out of it, I had to enlist in the reserves for 3 years) while remaining the same, as I see absolutely no good reason to change my personality just because the date reaches an arbitrary number. Oh the fun I'm having on THAT end!
Suffice it to say, I'm enjoying myself, I'll be celebrating when I'm out, and I'm never going to look back.
