I usually check the board every day, but I've been extremely occupied these past several months. My contract with the army is near its end--in military lingo, I go on terminal leave on Dec. 18th and my contract ends on Jan. 29th (those who go on terminal leave don't return to work, but they still get paid for it--a fringe benefit for having your contract end without any marks against you and you decide to not re-enlist).
I've been split between saving my money for the drive back home and going to Disney World, getting my money taken from me for stuff that was stolen from my locker even though it wasn't my fault, looking for a job back at home when my contract ends, deciding I'm gonna have to go into the reserves to get a few extra thousand dollars to stay afloat for a little bit longer, deciding that maybe I'll want to go to college instead of getting a job since I'll be given housing pay from the GI Bill I'm going to get, and helping my sister find a place to live since I'll be staying with her and my niece. And with what little time I've had to myself, I've been working on my Christmas present for my niece: she loves puzzles as much as I do, so I'm working on a puzzle trail for her to follow, and if she can reach the end, she'll get her first-ever $100 bill (a real treat for an 8-year-old!).
So yeah, been busy. I haven't been able to read very much of the board, but I've seen enough to say congratulations to Eri for getting married.
