...Holden Astra (1998 maybe?), it's one of the ones from just after they redid the body (so not ones of those old looking ones). And I've had no problems with it at all, they're great little cars!
I think it was more then $3K, might have been $5K, also bought from an auction house, so probably a bit cheaper than if I had bought from a used dealer. But my sister in law, who is married to an American and been living in the US for the better part of the last decade but just moved back to oz, is always surprised how much more expensive cars are here compared to in the US. So might be in your prise range over there.
Who's going to clear away the bodies...that's what I want to know.
