I miss Anji and Gizzy and TLE and TiZ and so many others. There were so many good chats. I think we all had Sev to bind us together, tho, and when the Sevilian Board was broken off from the Discussion Board, we lost some people... then, over time, people changed and grew.
Social Media evolved. Back in our hey-day, forums and IRC/ICQ were the best out there. Then, there was AIM, Skype, Yahoo Instant Messenger, MSN Messenger and so much more. Facebook, Twitter and MySpace came to power and suddenly people could get updates to their phone and didn't need the lowly forum anymore.
They're still my favs, tho. Things that matter happen in forums. I just wish I knew how to remind everyone else of that. But, if they're off living their lives somewhere without it and are content, I'd never want to make them miserable. I just miss 'em. I feel like, in some cases, we never got to say goodbye.
Great. Now I'm depressed and about to go off to my Mum's 50th. I better get a smile on FAST. :P
