Words of wisdom from my 16-year-old self:
"Heroes/People I look up to: I look up to the people who clawed their way up to ground level. I look up to those people who dare to be themselves, and who don't fear judgment. I also look up to those who do not judge, and who accept people as they are. I look up to people who vent their frustrations through words, writing, painting, singing or other forms of creativity rather than violence. I look up to those people who suffer from diseases and their families for their strength. I look up to those people who have lost, yet remain somehow strong. I look up to the people who don't let bad things keep them from living their lives. I look up to people who are willing to change the bad things about themselves... I look up to those who stick to their beliefs. I look up to those people who aren't afraid to be themselves, and stick out. I look up to the "Different" people in this world... for daring to be that way."
