The strange thing is.. they handle tens of thousands of domainnames... and they never encountered THIS?
Big screwup. Anyways..fortunately everything's back and the system does work really well.
And yes I can run my own nameservers but I'll get to that when I have a collection of 3 servers running.
Apparently the problem was caused by a new website they built that now employs AJAX to display information in the browser. It is that website that failed so hard.
