Gawd... so many firsts in this one for me, where do I start?
First off the clouds. This is the first time that I have ever hand painted clouds rather than rely on various filters and the flamingpear.com plugin 'glitterato'. It took me 4 tries to get what you see here.
Then the metals, especially the disks on his chest and the way they reflect everything around them. I'll never look at metal the same way again I think.
Then painting the rim lighting and painting OVER the lineart whereas up until now I've only ever really done glows and a few colour holds on pictures.
And grass!!! Layers and layers of grass!...! Gah!
