It's hard to say goodbye, but at least you knew she was going, and got that chance. With my mom's mom, I never got that chance. Massive heart attack = talking one moment, dead the next
However, she passed onto me the philosophy to live each day as if it were your last, and we did that. I have no regrets about anything related to her, other than not being able to say goodbye.
