Yep, my childhood home is finally no longer in the family as my parents have sold it after 40 years.
Not that they're moving all that far - they've bought a newer-built house on a smaller block that is on the opposite boundary road of the primary school we live (lived...) adjacent to. (and which I naturally attended way-back-when) They can literally see their old house from the new one!
It means though that they have to clean out 40 years of crap and junk from the garage and undercroft etc... I dunno where dad is going to put it all in the new house as it's much smaller overall. At least he'll have a smaller garden to look after which is kind of the idea for selling in the first place.
I colour stuff...
