They could have done better considering the source material. They messed up Harry finding the diadem in the next movie (just like they messed up Harry and the gang not finding the locket in the 5th movie), they failed to show the significance of the Horcruxes, and the greatest offender of them all: no battle at Hogwarts! Dammit I wanted to see everyone fighting the death eaters in the pajamas!
