Good news, everyone! (well, good news me... ahem).
Yes, I'm still alive.
A couple of months ago I applied for a career level review. Basically I applied to be promoted one level in my existing post. This morning I was escorted into a quiet room with my boss' boss (we don't believe in offices any more...), where he presented me with a letter from *his* boss telling me my application was successful!
So now I keep my current job but with more responsibilities, more interesting work, the ability to command minions on my tasks, budgets to manage (doing that part already, sigh), and most importantly a £2500 raise!
Not bad for two years in post straight from university :)
Brb, celebratory drinks.
