My hubby has a nice scar from when his came out when he was a kid. He started feeling pain, but his parents still made him go to karate before, I think it was his Dad, realized he was showcasing signs of appendicitis because he had JUST seen a documentary about it on TV. So, they finally took him to the hospital and it came RIGHT out.
He's also had his adenoids out and broken his nose... So, he's been through a bit of surgery and doctor's visits in his life. I've never broken a bone. Closest I came was torn cartilage in my foot... LOL.
Seriously, though, glad they caught it!
