Offer officially went in yesterday afternoon. We got pre-approved for the loan and all that jazz, so we're moving forward. It's all up to the bank, now. As far as we know, there are no other offers, but they can take up to three weeks to make a decision, something that's really annoying our realtor. LOL. I'm really hoping and praying that they get things moving for us at the bank, and that the Lord's hand is over all of this, because I really do want this house, but if God has something else for us planned, I can't really change His mind. :)
Matt and I are relatively calm as we wait, but I'm still struggling health-wise in the house we're renting, and I plan to vacate before the end of February regardless of if we get this house or not. Mom's already offered to let us move in with her, and I'll take that over more mold spores anyday.
Our lease is up in April, but as bad off as I've been, I don't think I can handle two more months. I've read and re-read our lease, and there's nothing in it about penalties for early termination, and they know all the problems we've been through and that we are having. So, here's hoping the drama goes down.... Will have to call the rental office again today, actually, because it's been a week and a half and we still don't have an appointment with the plumbers.
Yeah, I'm over this crap. I can't wait to have a home of my own where if the sink doesn't drain, I can get it fixed rather than having to wait for my rental office to get things going because if I don't go through their contractors, I get penalized. *sigh*
Please keep praying/sending good thoughts on the house!
