Totally not buying a home beyond our means. At all. This is definitely within our means, with wiggle room. We've been very careful about that. At first, our realtor was looking at homes a bit much for us, and we had to pull him back a bit to make sure we'd be able to afford monthly payments and still put some money into savings. The last thing I want is too much going out every month.
Definitely hear what you're saying and REALLY appreciate the advice as this is our first home buying experience. Crossing fingers it all goes smoothly.
