Just got one back from Summit Entertainment last week with a letter saying they don't accept unsolicited material. A lot of places don't, so I'm not heart broken. In fact, it's pushing me forward! I'm calling it my "Switzerland" letter since it says no one read it, and though it's a rejection, it's not a "you suck" letter. So, I want to have it framed and put on my wall for motivation. :P
And, I started writing a novel two weeks ago. I didn't write much at ALL last week, but I have 44,000 words and hope to do some work on it today. :)
Yeah, I don't give up too easily on my dreams. Thanks for asking! I wish something had happened with the New Moon script, but God has better things for me, I guess. It happened a lot in college, that I'd get rejected for things I was CONVINCED was good for me, and later I'd find out, it would have been AWFUL. So, not freaking. :)
