...what I said...Neither of you read my post very well. My gripe is, and I quote, "I've only dealt with the staff running the barracks...[and they] are a bunch of pussy bleeding bitches who are more concerned about throwing their weight around than helping anyone out."
First and foremost, training environments do not reflect what military life is actually like--practically no one in the military are this bad a leader, so I'm quite sore in the fact that I have to deal with these dumb@sses. Secondly the barracks staff ain't the only kind here--there's also the teaching staff, who I haven't dealt with yet, but hear they're a lot better. Thirdly, I haven't got my truck driving license yet as I haven't done the schooling for it. I'll be going to the school on Monday and it will take 7 weeks to complete, which is when I suspect I'll get my license. Even then, I'm signed up for 3 years, so I can't get a normal job until then anyway.
Not all of the military sucks this bad; just these PMSers. As for Iraq, yeah, I'll probably go. There's a 60% chance of that, anyway, which I knew before signing up, so it won't surprise me one bit if it does happen.
