I've only been here about a week and I can already tell that the chain of command here is one of the worst I've ever seen. They don't communicate with each other, they bitch at you when you're doing something you've been told to do by someone else, and they have no problems calling you a liar despite the fact that you're telling the truth. Now, calling me a liar is a sure-fire way of me f$%%$ing someone up because I'll pit my honesty against theirs any day of the week and be supremely confident that I'm better than they are...but it's the holiday season and they're stressed out of their minds since they weren't expecting my group until next year, so I'll for give them for now.
Suffice it to say I'm now (~midnight) on a shuttle bus waiting to go to the airport (2.5 hour drive) so I can catch my fligt (9:50AM) so I'm not going to be sleeping tonight--not to mention the fact that they kept altering their plans with us every five seconds so I haven't even had the chance to take a bath. So yeah. Tension is high and I can't wait to get away from these stupid idiots for a couple of weeks. Goodbye Missouri and hello home!
