So.... I thought I should give y'all an update on what's been going down with the script thing. Tuesday night, I emailed my mum's friend's fiance. LONG story short, he used to be in "the biz." I was emailing him about my "New Moon" script because I wanted to make sure I could share it with friends and not get in legal trouble.
His response. "Send it to Summit Entertainment." Yeah. He hasn't read anything of mine in two years, but he trusts that it's good (which I REALLY hope it is at this point) and he wants me to send it to Summit. So, I am. I registered the script with the WGA today, and when I get my number back via mail, I'm going to send it to Summit and see what they have to say. They may say nothing, but I never take these risks. I'm always too afraid, but I've been hearing God telling me that it was time to take a step out on faith with my scripts. If this is that step, I'm taking it, full-force.
I'd like to ask for prayer and good thoughts as I go forward. NOTHING may come of this, but I'm excited just to be moving forward!! :)
