problem

reviews
and
critics
in
my
opinion

Is the fact that they're always subjective. The only thing an outsider can gain from reading a review or a critic's review of a review is to gain a quick impression of whether or not the movie that was reviewed matches the interests of the reader. And even then it's a bit of a gamble. The really good reviews (in my opinion) are the ones where bits of the storyline are mentioned that truly characterize the movie, and give the reader a quick and striking insight into what the movie's overall character is. And that is just so difficult to do. But in the end, a review will always be subjective and if a critic's interests don't match up then that's just too bad for the critic.
