For those of you that are using Windows and Firefox 2 or Firefox 3... there's a great plugin you should try out.
It generates a fullscreen 3D environment with a row of pictures that extends far into the distance. You click and drag the mouse to navigate them lightning-fast. Click on one to view the high-resolution version of the picture or doubleclick to watch it fullscreen or use the return-to-web button to take you to the webpage the desired picture is on. Everyone that I've talked to has tried it and has been blown away by it. It even works well on my eee PC!
It works with websites that are Media-RSS enabled such as facebook, flicker, google image search and since today kitties.johandraaisma.nl and gallery.seanellery.com
So go get Cooliris (previously known as piclens) installed in Firefox and go over to google image search and hit the button that start cooliris in your browser. I promise you won't regret it.
