But I loved season 9. I thought there were some brilliant episodes, and I grew to love the Doggett/Reyes dynamic almost as much as the Mulder/Scully one. I loved Reyes too - she was so much more cheerful than Scully, she smiled more than once a season which was nice ;-)
I've seen the film - I wasn't that impressed to be honest, it seemed like a long episode, and one I wouldn't bother re-watching. I liked the Mulder/Scully stuff, that made it worth watching, I'd recommend any shippers saw it - but otherwise, don't bother. Nowhere near as good as the first one. However, me and my boyfriend saw it on our anniversary, as we'd spent the first year of our relationship watching the whole series together - so that was nice, and appropriate :-)
