the network has disappeared so either they've moved their computer further away, got a security key for it, or simply turned it off.
at any rate the unsecurred network no longer even appears on my wireless detector on the laptop (though the other secuirty coded network that was detected is still there) so for the mean time it's back to the old dialup crawl!... ah well, it was neat while it lasted
plus it' also convinced (well almost...) Raisa that we should fork out and get our own wireless broadband.
we'll probably do so now after we come back from Rome/Florence.
