We've still got the same internet connection as the day we signed up - amazingly slow dial-up.
What's funny is, our provider keeps on ringing up saying, look, you do realise broadband is cheaper and faster, right? ;-) I don;t understand the strange resistance my parents have to acquiring it, but I have learned it's not worth arguing. Anytime I tentatively approach the subject, the response is generally, "Well, when you've got your own house you can do what you want!"
Fortunately I am more often at my boyfriend's than at home, and he has broadband ;-)
