I hadn't really thought about it, till you mentioned it...though I've only read them all the one time (well listened to them all 1-6, and read/listened to 7)...
But the one thing i think of now that you've said it, is were Dumbledore is talking to him, and he is saying that he can do things, and Dumbledore asks him what sort of things, and Tom says (from memory in an enthusiastic whisper) "all sorts"...
But what the thing probably is, is that the child Tom, probably has very little screen time (we've probably seen about half of it now), and that to convey the melancholy type attitude Tom had towards life in general at the time, it has to be in all his lines (especially when its the first time the audience have seen him, first impressions and all)...
(I found out yesterday though, that we (Aussies) don't get it till December, where as it comes out other places (I'm guessing the UK the the US) in November! Its an outrage!!)
Who's going to clear away the bodies...that's what I want to know.
