her

the

time...

and thankfully no, she didn't get flattened by the first car that came along or run off and get lost immediately.
she did go belting up the hill however and finally stopped about 3 houses away, she looked back, wasn't sure where she'd come from and so hid under a bush in a front yard. Raisa then went outside and started calling her and we saw this head pop up, and she cam belting back home looking very relieved!!
Since then she hasn't gone so far. We spent most of Saturday working in the back garden so she hung around there and then went off exploring the local houses accross the road and next door. Every 10 - 15 minutes though she'd come back, either because something gave her a scare or just to check up on us. She kept this up all afternoon and was so pooped out from all the adventure that she just crashed on the bed about 5.00pm! :P
Today we let her out again for a while and she discovered that the back garden makes an excellent toilet tray!!! She clearly didn't realise this at first but today she dug her hole and then did a whizz and looked so pleased about it that we all just cracked up. She then spent the rest of the morning popping in and out of the house. Finally is started raining so right now she's crashed out on the couch.
so all looks pretty good. She knows where home is clearly and isn't likely to run off immediately, and she seems to have some cars ense and doesn't want to go too far from home-base.... *crosses fingers on all that*
