monitor!

Or well, not *that* new, but meh. Where my dad works they had some old 17" crt monitor thingies left, and I asked if I could have one.
The purpose being for when (or maybe if, considering study thunder forecasts) I buy a computer. That would save me a good deal of money, I think. And if I want one of those posh flat tft screens, I can always get one later.....if I have enough money then and they've become dead cheap at the same time. :-P
But for now I just hooked it on my laptop and put the monitor on the stand that's attached to my desk.
I used to have my monitor there, so "whoa", it's gonna take some getting used to the screen being closer to my face!
Hmmm, or I could move the arm a bit further out and move it a bit sideways. Backwards might be a problem, I don't see myself hacking a hole in the wall just yet! :-)
Hmmm, I see screen settings I adjusted aren't perfect yet...oh well. Quack to that for now!
